An Ensemble with Light

The strings of the two harps are made of invisible infrared rays.



h the strings of the two harps are plucked,the sensor contained in the musical instrument detects which string has been plucked and the harp gives the sound of particular pitch.


@Each of the harps has fifteen strings.
The harp on your right gives you higher sounds while the harp on your left gives you lower sounds.
A red-light emitting diode shows that the sound of "C" can be obtained by plucking the invisible string just above the light.

Just switch on one of the harps and the two instruments start to play one of the three pieces of music that you select.
